As the City of
Hollister continues to grow and with increasing interest
from developers in locating their business in the City, a
full time staff person was added to handle the many
inquiries. Fiscal year 2001-2002 construction permits
exceeded $4 million. The City is currently working on
affordable housing, the Highway 65 interchange including the
proposed East-West Road, several new office buildings are
under construction and a major company has the City of
Hollister on their short list for a new $ 15 million
facility.
Ziegenfuss will serve as a consultant to the parks and
recreation department that will launch an aggressive program
this year. Ziegenfuss retired from the US Army after 22
years as a Lieutenant colonel. |
